He wants to use your address for his residence plan prior to release, and to be used on the sex offender registration cards.

What is your belief system? If it is Christian (and honestly no judgment if it is not), then the answer is pretty clear.

Matthew 25:31

Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for . . . I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see . . . in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’"

His brother then asked for my number. Is it fricked up if I ignore?
Don't give him any personal information if he's a Nigerian Prince.

Otherwise, sure, why not? Maybe he needs a nice, stable person like you to help him correct his ways.

What if he is in AA

You are so full of sh*t!

You are making this up as you go along.

You have no way of knowing that he is trying to turn his life around. What you know for sure is that he is a f*ckup that is in jail.

Again, you prove me wrong, not the OP.

What if he is teaching/mentoring other inmates and wants life advice to pass on to them?
There are lots of people in jail that aren't "bad" people.

Why doesn't he get some of those "not bad" people in jail to help?

I have a friend doing life in Angola. I don't condone what he's done but I have always been his friend. I write and occasionally visit but I don't do the phone thing. The man has been there for me in the past, I'm a true friend, not a sometimes one.

If you refuse to give it to him, he will probably track you down and kill you after he gets out.

Dont really want him or what he brings to the table near my life.

Pretty easy way to make that happen considering he is in jail and doesn't currently have your contact info.

Probably wants to make peace with everyone he has fricked over in his life. Let him write to you so he can get banging all of your girlfriends in high school and college off his chest.
