Smart phones have ruined a lot of dining experiences. It was better when there were no distractions from those sitting across from you.

Soccer I was actually an original member of the ole miss rebel keep the flag or whatever it was called. Frank Hurdle started it and I was one of original members. I can still hear him saying “ Stan I have seen the plans, it not just the flag, they are going to get rid of Dixie next, then Col Reb, they are doing to get rid of it all”

I thought he was nuts, but he was obviously completely correct

From probably age 6 and up, every kid in the neighborhood knew who’s parent was coming by the shine of the headlights.

No internet or social media.

We had Sega Genesis and Nintendo. Blockbuster and TGIF. Full House and Family Matters. Life was great and work and issues didn’t follow you home.

I guess not worrying about the damn gender bullshite too. I am pretty sure I offended a person in Austin in the hardware store. My wife said he/she was a guy but I really thought he/she was a girl. Definitely a Pat situation, nice helpful kid but was either a butch girl or an effeminate twinky guy. The name didn’t help. I am sure I was an a-hole but I didn’t mean to be. I hate this bullshite

Riding my bike wherever I wanted, all day, all summer. On days I didn't choose to play in the creek (the ditch between airline and Tara) all day. Sicily's pizza buffet. Cokes after tee ball games.

In 96 the writing was on the wall. When Tuberville came out against it that was the beginning of the end. My freshman year we got rid of the colonel.

I lived in the ditches and ponds etc around Baton Rouge. We rode our bikes and jumped ramps with them daily.

I missed cartoons on Saturday am too. All three channels of them

Sorry, DMagic we really did try. We never saw it as a racial issue, right or wrong, we saw it as tradition issue
