My 2008 Tundra randomly threw a check engine light and went into limp mode. Showed a transmission code. Thought real hard, and realize I may have never gotten around to changing the transmission fluid. Bought it with 65,000 miles. Had 210,000 miles on it at the time. Changed transmission fluid, cleared the code, has run flawlessly since then.

It'll just be broken in good then. Mine has 340k and I know of two folks still driving Tundras that have topped 500k. The 4.7 and 5.7 liter V8s are rock solid.

My tundra is there. What would you like to discuss? Just replaced my plugs and rotor caps, because they were lingering from the 120k service, forever ago. Gas mpg is still dog shite
but i know she's gonna fire up all day, every day, and get me to/from work.

Really nothing, I have 2014 f150 with 265,000. Hoping to get 300 out of it.

Driving an old truck is a flex, I guess. I don't have the patience for a vehicle that won't start after filling a tank of gas, and I can afford not to have that problem, so I don't.

He knows this boards hard on for Toyota and the disdain for buying new vehicles and he plays it perfectly. Look how many people have responded seriously about their tundras and how many miles on each
