They need to crack down on tailgaters (following too closely) more than this.
My experience: I religiously drive in the right-hand lane. I go slower than the speed limit to allow cars to get away from me.
I am usually all alone on the highway, which is good (safe).
However...
At intervals, a wad of cars comes flying up behind me, four or five cars within inches of each other. The cars in the right lane get right on my arse and stay there, sometimes even after the left-hand lane denizens have moved on down the road.
Then, when I come upon a car moving slower than me, I get in the left lane and invariably, A.J. Foyt comes up on my arse (even though I'm technically passing).
PISS ON YOU SHITTY DRIVERS. PUT DOWN YOUR frickING PHONE AND DRIVE.

The traffic in Baton Rouge is unbelievable, but the drivers might be just as bad. I travel some for work and I will say Baton Rouge drivers might be the absolute worst. At least in some of the major cities they pay attention to their own shitty driving. People in Baton Rouge just don't understand how to drive

I've seen someone pulled over in Texas once. It was so fulfilling to watch. Cop even gave the guy a chance, jumped behind him and tailgated for 10 seconds. When he didn't get the hint, he threw on the lights and got him.
