A zoo keeper would never be allowed to jump in the enclosure with a tiger. What is a taser going to do to a 400lb animal if it decides to turn on you? Odds on is that you will never even get the taser on the animal to do anything.
Keepers use taser with the elephants. Not for them being dangerous and trying to kill them but they could literally kill you not even trying because they can weigh 10k+ pounds and can squeeze you into an area by accident.

Why the frick didn't those stupid fricking people tie their damn shirts together and try to save the man? 2 minutes he spent waving his arms. Throw shite at the tiger for distraction while others lowered the make shift rope. I fricking hate society. Film it instead of helping.

I got this one. The tiger actually was trying to save the man. He didn't real how fragile the human was as he carried him off to a more secure spot. He accidentally punctured his artery in using a very reliable tiger hold they use on cubs.
