The highlights of the law (Issue 3):
-Sets a specific number of grow sites and dispensaries. Opponents point to this as a monopoly.
- Over 21 years of age to buy.
- Individuals can grow 4 plants, indoors, for their own use.
Opponents have put another issue (Issue 2) on the ballot outlawing business monopolies.
I will vote yes on 3 no on 2.

This coming from a State whose residents first think of a River when they hear:
"I'm going to burn one down."
"I'm going to burn one down."

If you legalize the Devil's grass, you will be smoked for eternity.
I hope it passes. I am all for legal weed.

It'll be hard to pass...Cause of all the Heroine users they have. The old timers will think it'll be the gateway drug to it. JMHO

I'd say chances are pretty good that this will pass.

I'm conflicted on this one, I'm anti drug but I'm pro monopolies. Isn't there a way we can allow a free market stranglehold on a more wholesome product?

The polls show it will be close. But I am not a believer of most polls because the sample size is small and who knows if the participants will actually vote.
It will come down to turnout. The older folks always vote and will vote no. If the younger/college age and kids of the 70's, 80's etc vote it will pass.

You know the dangers of the Devil's Foliage. My cousin Gunther was walking to church camp one summer and some shady man in an ally offered him a 7-ball of weed. (I'm pretty sure this man was the devil in disguise.)
Well Gunther, being naive, took it and cooked it in a spoon and snorted it right up his nose and then he had to babysit and he was hungry and when the parents came home he'd put the Baby in the microwave! Now he thinks he's a glass of orange juice and won't lay down in the loony bin.
It only takes one pots to make you a junkie people!

Folks up here hate it when people bring "the burning river saga" up. I think it is funny, even if it did happen some 50 years ago.

What might sink this is there are so many idiots who oppose this law Bc it creates a monopoly they say. So these fricks want to keep pot illegal and keep putting people in jail just Bc this law isn't perfect. But what'll happen is this law will be defeated and instead of getting that perfect law they want, they'll get shite.

The monopoly aspect of this is bullshite. There is also a second amendment on the ballot making state created monopolies illegal, could get interesting if both pass.

I would agree. However, this movement must start somewhere. If both issue's pass, it will head to the courts. Smarter legal minds than mine, expect whichever issue passes by the larger margin will trump the other.

If it is legal to have four plants in your house then there will be plenty of cheap pot.

It's bullshite, but so is ruining people's lives and wasting money and resources keeping it illegal. I disagree with the pro-pot people who are against this. The greater good is to legalize it despite the monopoly. The monopoly can be addressed down the road, or maybe even with this election on the other proposition.

Yes on 3. No on 2. Man I hope this passes!

By the way, who cares about the monopoly when individuals over 21 will be able to grow their own weed!
