Was just reading the news up here regarding what went down. Someone called the police here in Kentucky when they saw her try to get out of the car and he pulled her back in. Officers also had to open fire on the car (read that at another link) so they’re not sure at this point who died/when.

I’m assuming they were receiving fire. The car was also wrecked pre-shooting (from my understanding) so I’m curious if he tried to run down cops with the car. The CJ article said they believed the car was stopped by stop sticks.

Goddamn.. why would they shoot at the vehicle knowing there’s a hostage in it? I hope it was an officer in obvious fear of his life but that doesn’t look good at all.

Take cover. I agree we don't know the scenario here. But I hope they weren't just shooting at the car, knowing there is a hostage in there.

Return fire, not sure what else. They aren't just going to let a dude with deadly weapons wreak havok. Gun and car are both extremely dangerous to every one in his path.

Nah. There were a SLEW of cops and they were all Kentucky State Troopers since it was a full on pursuit at that point.
