Ohio State student abducted at gunpoint on campus. UPDATE- Both are dead

Student Skylar Williams was standing in a parking lot on the university's Mansfield campus at about 11:45 a.m. Monday when she was approached by suspect Ty'rell Pounds -- a man she knows, according to Ohio State's public safety department.
The suspect, reportedly armed with a handgun, forced Williams into his car and fled, the university's statement said.
"Someone just kidnapped a girl on campus with a gun," a frantic woman told a 911 dispatcher. "They're already gone."

That car has since been found, but Pounds allegedly stole a car at gunpoint, according to the university.
The public is asked to be on the lookout for the stolen car. The university said it's a dark 2019 Dodge Caravan with license plate number FMZ-9621.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to call the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Mansfield Post at 419-756-2222.

Never get in the car. A secondary crime scene always becomes a murder scene. If they're going to kill you, make them do it right then and there.

Seems easy to say but when a gun is pointed at you, I'm sure it's not so easy. I don't know how i would respond to be honest.

There is NO place on earth more dangerous than the "secondary crime scene". NEVER go anywhere. If the dude is gonna kill you - make him kill you right there. He still might. But, you are far more likely to die elsewhere.
Run, scream, etc. Make him shoot a moving target or run you down. But, NEVER go to the next place.

Yup. Never let them stick to the plan.
Easier said than done, obviously, but I'd figure some survival instincts kick in.

They stopped after being chased by Ky state police. Shots were exchanged. Sounds like it might be murder/suicide.

Further, I don't think females realize how hard it is to shoot a moving target(or any target past 30 feet or so).
It ain't like the movies. And there's a huge chance of surviving even if you get hit.
