I do and odds are everyone here does. Too many people are addicted and dying for everyone to not be linked to someone addicted or dead from it.
I see posts like that in all these opioid threads and just brush it off as people playing hard or pretending to be above the crisis. I'd love to see some of their real life reactions to someone they love getting caught up and having to watch them suffer and struggle to get out of bed when they're sick, or worse, get that call that the loved one has passed on or has overdosed. Wonder if they'd turn their noses down then. They are either faking it or have no idea how reaching the crisis is. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

Trim, I would care about what happens to my dogs when they pass than when I pass. They can throw me in with 20 other people if it saves a few bucks, but when it comes to my dogs. I'd want them to be done alone.

Odds are maybe a majority do, but odds are not that everyone does. I can't think of anyone I was remotely concerned with who is addicted or died. I'm sure there are some people who I haven't kept up with from my past who might be dead or addicted.

Ignorance is bliss but so is not associating with drug addicts.

There’s something to be said for just letting these people kill themselves, ideally prior to them procreating and spreading that genetic deficiency to the future of the human race.

A lot of internet hard asses in here who have no damn clue how many people are hooked on pills. This isn’t a class thing, plenty of well to do people get caught up in this. I would bet a majority of people in this thread know someone addicted to pills, whether they realize it or not.

I used to prosecute drug cases and see a bunch of young people from nice families who start off fricked up on pills and end up stealing shite from Walmart to buy heroin once their family cuts them off. And the lucky ones get arrested and end up in rehab. The unlucky ones never get arrested and overdose.

I did not realize Franklin County, which is Columbus, is the most populated county in Ohio.

Thought it would have been Cayahuga, which is Cleveland.

I don’t have a single person I know well or care about that is addicted to pain meds or heroin. There’s no way I’m the minority.

More fentanyl in San Francisco means less poop on the streets...

Know you were joking, but one of the epicenters is south Florida with the fent. But honestly it’s spreading country wide now. And no steps are being taken. A whole generation is being wiped out. Think like 70k plus last year died from opiate OD.
