Oh no Fireworks. Snitches get..........$500

Been seeing signs all over Monterey County of $1000 fines for illegal fireworks.
They probably have a thing going where if you snitch on someone and they get $1000 fine then the snitch gets half.
I get it in the dry areas over a half mile from the coast.
On top of it all they apparently quit the firework shows out in the bay because apparently it fricked with the sea lions, seals, and otters.

Cali Latins LOVE fireworks. But they get the craziest ones that set off car alarms and PTSD because they legit sound like mortars.

Probably anything that leaves the ground or explodes. Here in CO basically all fireworks except snakes and sparklers are illegal due to fire danger. Tons of them still go off but I get it.
ETA - the muthafuggin bootleg fireworks video is one of my favorites ever

I freaking love fireworks, but I get it. California has been dealing with wildfires. Probably not smart to be blowing things up and burning down people's homes.
