You don't have to be a big shot, there are some really creepy people that both post and lurk here. For every poster that you see logged on, there are thousands that are just sitting back and reading.
You say one thing that one of these people don't like and they take things personally and make it personal. They start going through your post history and piece together who you are, then bam! I've seen it happen a few times here already with jmcs, Paige and quite a few others. It should never happen but there are people out there trying to ruin people's lives.
It's scary to post on message boards when you have people willing to go to those extremes. It's why I'm just being me and I adhere to the rule that I will not post anything that I wouldn't say in person or to a group of people. It's worked so far.

I wouldn't call him bigoted. I think it's ridiculous to judge him on some of those posts. It's a message board, a lot of us don't take it seriously and we say things we wouldn't say IRL.
That said, revealing details of his cases was pretty stupid. That's the only damning thing to me.
