Is it that you don't like her genre (pop) of music or you don't like her in that genre because for today's POP music I don't think she's bland at all.
That being said, when it comes to performers her show is definitely in elite category and the most entertaining tour in the world right now.

Meh. Try harder. I paid for my wife and daughter to go to her concert at Metlife Stadium. I chose not to go, because it's not really my thing. I don't however spend a lot of energy wondering why she is a thing for her fans or criticizing the fact that she is.
