Let me also suggest that a probable path of this plane could also follow traditional opium smuggling routes through the golden triangle where a night time cargo plane flying unidentified would look like another CIA bird that those radar operators have been trained to ignore for 40+ years.

And I believe that al though the US may not know its exact location YET, we know where it is. There is a reason that all of this is finally coming out. We can't let the entire world know that we probably have satellite (or another means) of reading the VIN # on my truck from the moon.

I would think they would do it solely on the trade in value of the 777 vs the resale value of used 737, thats my theory

I've seen a lot about terrorists taking control of the plane for a future attack and people saying it would be detected by the USA or other major countries.
But what if terrorists took control of the plane (most likely with the help of the pilot), landed it somewhere with idea to force the Semiconductor people to try to use their cloaking technology to cloak this plane (or other planes) for future use?

They needed to go and load the weapon of mass destruction first. Not like it would have gotten on the plane in Malaysia.
