On my wife's Honda once the light goes on you have to do something to reset it when you get the right pressure in it. Could this be it?

Do you know if it is direct or indirect systems?
Indirect can have false positives from uneven tire wear, or if you got a new tire and kept the old ones.
Also reset after a triggering event.

Some accessories like inverters and especially cheap walmart type cell phone chargers can produce interference that blocks the signal and makes the light come on.

This happens to me in the morning, especially this time of year. The colder temps with change my pressure just enough to set off the tire pressure monitor.

I would check the pressure with my gage I have in my truck, damn you frickers don't have a clue

How do you know your tires are inflated if the low pressure light is on? Do you think your car is lying to you?

Probably different type of tire than the cars computer is programmed for.

Easy answer. Each tire sending unit has a battery in it. Once that gets weak, you are screwed.

I would ignore it, like I've done to mine for the last year and a half.
I don't need a computer to tell me a tire is flat. You can figure that out real quick without a computer.

I had the same problem and solved it immediately by unplugging my cell phone adapter charger. Watch the video.

The thing about the tire gauges is back in the day I never worried about adjusting the air when the seasons change and I never had any problem.
Now it's "OMG they are uninflated" when fall starts and "OMG they are overinflated" when summer starts. I make the adjustments but the tires don't seem to last any longer than they did when I was blissfully ignorant.
The gauges do help when you get a slow leak though.

Keep filling them past the recommended pressure until the light goes off. Then bring them back down to the recommended psi

Discount tire has a drive through just for tire pressure. They will reset the sensor
