How about my neighbors who put Christmas decorations on their Halloween statues that have been out since late August.

I'll start working on them tomorrow. It's a large task and takes quite a bit of time.

If your decorations are up before Dec 1, then they are up too early. They should be taken down by end of day Jan 2. This is necessary to average out the whole Christmas thing with the "Christmas Day 365" stores that seem to be everywhere. (Not to mention Home Depot, Wal-Mart. and every other place that goes into Christmas mode before Hallowe'en candy is even off the shelves.)

Day after Thanksgiving. Why do people want to skip over Thanksgiving?
Because some of us spend it in shitty places visiting family.

The thing with Hobby Lobby is you can get fantastic deals on tons of Christmas stuff when you buy early.

Usually around T-giving, a bit before or after.
However my wife (no pics) always want to leave decorations around, so they end up being put away at the end of Jan./early Feb.
For me, Jan. 10 should be tops.

Day after Thanksgiving. After all the cooking and prepping for Thanksgiving Day dinner, no way the wife and girls are going to mess with a Christmas tree on the same day/night.
