Just to show how calm the past several years have been, Harvey seems mind blowing but barely cracks the Top 20 strongest landfalling US hurricanes (based on preliminary data for Harvey).

We have a job site in West Columbia....we evac'd all personnel(damn near 1k folks) except for 1 that I know of who was going to ride it out with the triple wides and equipment .....I hope the old baw had enough sense to GTFO.

Purple dots are locations that are forecasted to reach "Major Flooding" levels...

Shows no major flooding for me, I'm in Webster. I'm mostly just worried about losing power. If we do I'm going to have to go sleep in the baby's room.

It's windy, not much rain. We lost power a couple times but only for a few minutes.

The damn superintendent wanted to stay but he is one of the premiere (and highest paid) pipeline construction supers in the country....the CEO was going to drive there today and get him but he finally relented.

Yeah not showing major flooding for Humble/Atascocita either. Although with Lake Houston having the dam/spillway to prevent flooding that's not super surprising.

Pretty fricking crazy that they're saying that what is Landing tonight, will loop back around and hit them as a tropical storm again on Monday.
