Obama better fricking say he is glad the process worked as it should have and this can be shown as an example of how DA's should operate - not just always try and get a conviction, but actually look at the evidence and present it, all of it.

You don't grasp the ramifications I'm suggesting? His job as a DA doesn't stop tonight. He's going to need eye witnesses in the future for future crimes? Smearing a community that already distrusts you (for legit historical reasons) on national TV will do nothing to amend the bridge of distrust.
