Mid-City Galvez calling in that it’s damn cold. Got a fire going. That’s all I got.

Just went wrap the faucets and it’s down to 39° and listing here. It’s dropping fast now after sitting near 50° the whole day. Is the freezing line advancing again? Seems like it was stationary all day long.

Haven’t been anywhere out except front door. But if it rains until 11 or so there will be ice on the roads.

Not saying y’all won’t have anything to worry about in SELA, but KPLC last night kept reiterating that we wouldn’t have any trouble, and here we are with both ways out of LC at a standstill…..

Down to 37° here now, which is 2 degrees in twenty minutes. That rate has been pretty steady since sunset. Still just kinda misty.

North of downtown St. Amant, south of uptown Galvez.

Maybe so and I know these winter forecast can be tricky but less than 24 hours out we should be able pinpoint these things. No reason the bridges shouldn’t have been winterized.

Mistake on their part. Should prepare for the worst. It looked unlikely, but there was a reasonable chance SWLA could receive freezing rain if you’ve been tracking this event.
