Kind of mixed, but mostly light rain here. 33° currently.

ETA: Just hit freezing.

No.

Miserable. Maxed out at 40 mph. This morning was worse, out before the plows did their work. Irregular conditions, typically 1-2" of snow on the road. Sometimes more.

At least the wind was chill.

Avy warnings up on all the mountains too.

I'm surprised it's been so warm there today, it hasn't gotten above freezing here and was 26-27 most of the day

23 degrees earlier and sleeting instead of snowing, I'm not smart enough to explain that but I assume it has something to do with warm air layers as you move up through the atmosphere

Just got back from taking a drive to check the roads out, main roads like Poplar, Walnut Grove and 240 are okay so long as you stay in the grooves... Poplar Pike and the neighborhood streets... that's a different story altogether. Probably about 4 people here will know the streets I'm referring to

My grandparents live at poplar and massey so I know what you are talking about. Will be helpful if anything happens with them

Thankfully I don't live anywhere near that place

Yep. Sleet is a melt than refreeze before the ground.

That cold air hasn't quite made it here yet. We just dipped below freezing and won't be back above it until Thursday. 4° is still our forecast low.

If they didn't brine/salt Massey, that hill in front of Walgreens leading towards Poplar gonna be tough.

Gotcha. I can pretty much assure you that wasn't brined. Lotta trees over that way as well, but our tree problem has pretty much been taken care of by the last ice storm and the storms we had over the summer. Also, this is "just" snow. Of course, packed down snow on the roads becomes ice.
