Am I gonna love it?

I ordered the instapot too. I had $30 in free credits, so I only paid $40. Reviews say you can brown in it before setting it to pressure or slow cook. That sold it for me.

There is a neat trick some can try if they have an HD tv.

You take a regular coax cable and screw on one end to the back of your tv's coax insert.. then take the other end and have it touch some sort of metal.. like let it stick into a screw off a light switch.. or somehow put it touching a metal can.. then do a search for the antenna settings on your tv.. and it might pull of OTA hd channels for you.

I know it works for me that way. You just have to do the right settings on your tv fist as if you have an antenna and let it finish searching.

Mother frickers.

Thought I was done with Prime Day after the Echo and a $200 soundbar. Now I've been roped into getting the pressure cooker

And considering the Roomba.

Yeah it has a saute option. Which I love doing some veggies with a little oil in it first before I pressure cook whatever. It's just nice to do it all in one pot. There's also settings when you first click saute you can adjust to low medium or high. It defaults on medium. (I didn't even realize this for some time)

Another cool feature is once it finishes cooking.. it automatically goes into keep warm mode.

I mean just for being a rice cooker it's almost worth it for the sale price here. It's one of those all-in-units that actually is worth it. It's nice not having to mess with the stove/oven once in a while.

I'll stop raving about it though, because I know people get sick of that stuff.

This prime day seems to be exactly like last year's.

I wish I could find a weed wacker on a huge discount.

So far I have purchased (1) Amazon Tap and (1) Firestick with Voice Controls.

I've also reviewed several purchases that I have made in the last 90 days from Amazon and will be seeking a price difference with my Discover Card.

I brown a roast on the "sauté" mode. Add beef stock, onions, carrots, etc, then manually set it to pressure cook for 70 minutes. Release the steam, remove the roast, turn it back to sauté mode and reduce the liquid for a gravy, and voila, dinner is served. It will cook onions, garlic, bell peppers, and other veggies until they don't exist anymore, but it makes for one helluva gravy.

I actually bought when I needed a new rice cooker just in case I liked the other features, but once I started using it I regularly I bought a cheap rice cooker to have rice on the side while I'm doing roasts or any kind of beans.

ETA: I'm not a paid Instapot spokesperson, but I wish I was. Pretty sure I pulled the trigger based on a thread on here a few years ago. I usually pick one up for a gift when I see them on sale at this price, but everyone in my family has one now.

I bought the Insta pot. Hate that I missed out on the food saver.

Nevermind, got the foodsaver too.

Pretty sure that is impossible nowadays unless you manipulate the safety features. Sort of like blowing up a hot water heater - it can be done, but you have to do it intentionally.

I hate you people for making me spend $69.99 for an item I don't necessarily think I need but now can't live without.

(I pulled the stupid trigger like the rest of you).

Some credit card companies have built-in features like 90-day price guarantees that will refund the price difference if you purchase it on that card and find it lower within the specified time frame. They also often offer longer warranties on many items purchased with the card.
