One time I went in there around 11 am, got a number, left, came back around 3:15 pm and still had to wait another 15 minutes for my number to be called.

It’s sad how poorly the dmv is run. A bunch of overpaid employees who do absolutely nothing

This is so appropriate. Was on hold with them twice today for 40 and 50 minutes. They said I had a lapse in coverage on a car I leased and turned in 2 years ago but they had the wrong lease termination date. It’s amazing how incompetent that system is.

IIRC, there is a long history of people turning in shite on time with regards to cars being sold / junked / etc and the OMV trying to claim you should have had insurance until they keyed it, not until the day you got rid of the car.

They sent out bills to a lot of people over this and got their asses sued off.

Weren’t they already closed for like a month for a cyber attack? How many days have they actually worked this year?

Now, now, don't say that. They stole $98K in cash transactions in 2018. That's doing something isn't it?

Audit shows $98K+ theft
