I really don't think I could ever do anything like that, but I started a small business and have mouths to feed, so sometimes that pressure to "eat what you kill" makes me actually want to live off the land and kill to eat. It seems like a different type of pressure. But I could never actually do that unless I had a maintenance and hunting gathering crew doing all the work for me.
