Companies are buying safety. Well, at least short term safety. They don’t want to deal with the mob. They hope that if they endorse and support, they will look good in front of the mob and the problem will go away. with this approach, the problem doesn’t go away. It gets worse.

Affirmative action programs would never admit these people. The dirty secret of corporate hires and college admissions is that MOST of the minorities they bring in already come from a decent situation to begin with. Anyone who thinks they're pulling candidates from the pool of filth in that video is being deceived. The people in that video aren't even showing up to high school. The people hired at Goldman Sachs, while maybe not qualified for Goldman, are still more than ahead of their peers. So their programs change nothing, they're just highlighting people that have already escaped that culture long ago.
