There are strong genes in the family, plus unimaginable wealth and access to health care.
Victoria made it 82 years with 19th Century medicine. I know a lot of you royal watchers know that Victoria is QEII's great-great-grandmother, but she's also Phillip's great-great-grandmother (yes, that makes them 3rd Cousins, but they're also 2nd Cousins once removed with another common ancestor, Christian IX of Denmark). You don't get ears like Charles has through just random genetic chance, baws.
The Queen Mum was over 100, so QEII has a good shot at that.

Just googled. She is 92.
Her mother lived to be 102, her dad 57. That's an average of 79.5 There is 20 months until 2020..
