When I was single, I used to go to ladies' night at this bar in North Gulfport, MS. It was always crawling with women. They weren't the greatest looking, in many cases, but they were there in numbers and the universal goal of everyone there was to get drunk and get laid.
So far as I can tell, there's nothing like that anymore. Women just sort of order up a "Chad" on their phones now, no different from getting Ethiopian food on Uber Eats. Bars are terrible now, just places for groups of aging single women to take pictures of shite and cackle like Pantsuit Hillary.
The internet and MADD have destroyed this country.

Yea, the men are as bad as the women they are bitching about.
This all may be reality in LA or NYC, but in the south, I go to or at least get invited to, more weddings and engagement parties than I can count.
That vast majority of young men and women I know that are post-college, are either married or in relationships.
Even most of the older divorced people I know don’t stay divorced for long.

Bottle Service in clubs changed the game starting about 20-25 years ago, earlier in places like NYC, LA, Vegas, & Miami. Today if you are a man going to a club/lounge in a large city & don't have a table with bottle service that costs thousands or know the promoter, DJ, or someone in the club, you aren't getting in while any decent looking woman gets in with no issues. Also Marketing/Model agencies hire hot women who are then hired by the clubs for marketing reasons so social media & the guys wanting to go will see that club has hot women when guys have no idea they are paid just to show up & be there. Then there are the bottle service girls who market on their Instagram to DM them for tables as they are trying to outdo their other bottle service girls by selling the most tables. It is all a game to make money off the simp men.
Yes, there are local bars you can hang out at with none of the bottle service but every hot woman there with a group or alone & is on her phone texting or using it as a defense mechanism to shoo away the lower tier & average men while waiting for what she considers to be a high value men to come along.

I don’t think the average demographic of Louisiana is what is being discussed in this thread.
And of course I’m posting my anecdotal evidence. This entire thread is anecdotal evidence of each person’s experience based on location, economic and educational attainments, etc.
I’ve been married 30 plus years, but I also have kids and relatives in post-college age group and I have not seen this phenomenon.
Virtually all of them, including all their friends, are married or in long term relationships. Sure a few aren’t, but that’s no greater than past generations.

I am not saying you are lying, I am saying you have an extremely rare social group.
Statistically marriage rates have plummeted in the South. It is a real problem, societally.
