Late dinner at a nearby restaurant. They’re doing some special 4-course meal starting at about 10pm. We normally do nothing on NYE so this is a change of pace.

Home alone. Wife and kids out of town. Same thing every year.
I will have a few beers, watch football and go to bed after the fireworks stop.

We lived in LP for 7 years and it sounded like WWIII. It's far more muted where we are now in BR.
