I would not want to ride public transportation in the bad areas of the following either :

Montgomery
Tuscaloosa
New Orleans
Baton Rouge
Atlanta
Jackson
Memphis
Nashville

Etc

Meh...that's one cherry-picked instance in a city not in the discussion. The NYC subways always have issues, so take your contrarian POV to the golf board and start arguments with Tom.

If there were zero illegals living in the US, we would still see this exact same article about a horrific killing on a NYC subway. And the OP would have made the same thread to get cheap clicks because it makes a Northern city look bad.

The fact an illegal committed the crime is just one extra layer of sensationalism which truly has nothing to do with the crime itself. If it hadn't been this illegal it would have been some other sick frick, this time an American citizen, committing an equally horrific crime.

I'm not defending illegals. Isn't this the same board where people always call out of the MSM for printing the race of a criminal in only particular instances?

Honestly, good.

They need to have a rough time for a while. I can name a couple other big cities I'd like to see suffer equally if you have time.

And if that lady forgot her phone at her apartment that day and had to go back she would also still be alive.

Lets not play these games.

Dude is a piece of shite, yes.

We aren't exactly dealing with the sharpest tools in the shed on here. I love 'em, but jeez.

As you should have. It always makes me chuckle when I see grown men from Southern Louisiana state how they would never dare ride the subway in NYC.

lol...what a ridiculous comment. So, since I'm a grown man from South Louisiana, then I should put myself, as well as my wife and daughter, in potentially dangerous situations when better options are available?

Does your wife fill up her own gas at ANY gas station in Baton Rouge? Does she shop alone at ANY store along Siegan Lane or hell anywhere in Baton Rouge?

Because that is more dangerous than using public transportation that MILLIONS of New Yorkers and visitors use daily in NYC...
