Didn't Fauci congratulate NY on how they handled the virus?

Yes. He also praised Europe compared to USA.

So, schools there have been in session since September?
And now they are getting a rise in cases, so it's the school's fault?
I am missing something

Yes...politicians are stupid and they convince the stupid people who vote for them they are not stupid.

Not sure why people don't realize it is a good thing to attract and keep rich people in your area.

Because they’ve realized that it’s better to have a bunch of poverty stricken folks who have been put in fear for their lives if Dems ever lose governmental control WHILE AT THE SAME TIME getting bailout money from the federal government.

The rich folks pay either way but a poor citizenry is easier to control.

The entire Atlanta school system has been distance learning?

The local school district here in Texas just announced today that kids who are doing school remotely and have a GPA below 69% MUST change to in-person schooling.

I guess they want to clean up the gene pool.

Holy shite.

The percent positive that triggered this:

3%.

THREE PERCENT POSITIVE triggered this kind of reaction.

These people are fricking insane.

Omaha is at 34% positivity rate and still chugging along. You would think there would be hundreds of dead within the school systems. There is one elderly fatality in a city that has tens of thousands students and staff

I just read, “The positivity rate within New York City schools is below 0.2 percent”

Luckily my kids are in private school in NYC and get to continue with in school learning. They have done an amazing job of keeping kids safe and it will turn into a legal battle with many of these schools if DeBlasio tries to shut them down.

Our school shut down today. They cited local community spread. Catholic k-8 in Lafayette. In their email to parents they reported they have no cases spread at school. So why are we shutting down again? I’m big mad. They want a verbal commitment for next year over thanksgiving break. Not gonna do it.

That's awesome. My younger brother goes to a high school of 3500 kids. In person every day. We've been a hotbed, and he's known a handful of kids that have had to remote learn while in quarantine. If masks stop the virus, what justifies pulling the plug if a few people test positive? I was told everyone had to wear masks at school for exactly that situation
