She should have to pay restitution for the resources wasted looking for her.

Along with that, she should be sentenced to jail for the same length of time as the white chick who faked her disappearance.

And her brother suggested racism was involved in the coverage? Once again, the demand for allegations of racism far exceeds the supply.

I think it's laughable you want us to believe you want to know because of misused resources and public safety and not just a morbid curiosity of what lie this woman told so you can have another soap box.

The point is that a huge portion of women in Alabama have started to really question their activities due to this. It really scared a lot of people and brought home the fact ‘it could have been me’.

Lots of women becoming more situationally aware is not a bad thing.

So basically this can only go two ways:

1 - full on manic episode

2 - some really poorly thought out kidnap/abduction money scheme that backfired quickly

Right?

Funnymaine is claiming he was with the family the entire time…..

This is looking more and more like huge joke.

The whole thing smelled at the Ashanti Alert questioning in the very beginning.

I’ve read this multiple times. Why would the Ashanti Alert be suspicious? Seems like it would reinforce the legitimacy of a kidnapping.

its laughable that someone opts for the most obvious outcome that evidence supports?

The story is out that a kidnapping happened, a child was used as bait, human trafficking, etc., and the whole thing was ignored because racism.

It doesn’t matter what the truth is. No matter how full of shite this woman (and whomever assisted her) are, the narrative is already set.

There are still many people defending Jussie. The truth doesn’t matter. What’s important is that we started a conversation about all of these societal ills.

It would be nice to know if a toddler being used in a kidnapping scheme is a thing here. People being skeptical to help a child isn’t a good thing.

GFY. People in our area need to know if there’s an actual toddler being used to kidnap people.

Clearly this is a hoax….which means public resources were wasted on this.

Do the crime do the time.

Don't want a soap box don't create a narrative for one.

Her choices caused every single thing that has followed.

Who cares if it IS morbid curiosity? She made herself a public spectacle. She wasn’t arbitrarily plucked from obscurity. You’re being just as obnoxious by acting all sanctimonious.

Watching you defend this girl by deflection is the most laughable part of this thread.

Shes not going to hook up with you, drop the faux caring.

She might have just left to get away without knowing or caring of the repercussions of her fake kidnapping.

How is this making them more situationally aware? Not pull over for a kid on the side of the road?

The original story was she was trafficked off a busy highway, basically out of thin air in public. Which in hindsight would have been damn near impossible to not be witnessed but it was still believed to be true.

The only thing this story did was possible prevent someone from helping a kid truly in need in the future.
