This is what burns me up. They chose to go on a national program for money rather than local stations where this occurred and they gave zero information on the "abductors". If I thought my child had been kidnapped and I had any information on the abductors, I'd have been giving them out myself, particularly since the police had not given that info out.
I wonder if any news media is camped out at their house.

The parents have an opportunity to shine here by saying we’ve discovered our daughter did something fraudulent and heinous and we take it very seriously. We were duped just like everyone else and we want to comply however we can to see the situation rectified. Instead it will drag out and they’ll hide her and protect her from incriminating herself and it will only get worse.

I would imagine they are feeling a bit stuck right now. The daughter could be facing criminal charges. I think they're seeking legal advice at this time if they're smart. They want to find a way to cut their losses and hers. I'm anxious for this to move quickly, but I'm not sure it will. They also may be talking with police through their attorney. The HPD Chief said the parents had been communicating with them. He did not disparage them. He was quite impressive.

Maybe they didn't make her remove her socks.
I'm still wondering if the money came from her work. That wasn't directly addressed. I'd think by now, the employer knows if they were short that day.

This is a slippery slope, now anyone can commit crimes or do horrible things and blame it on mental problems...l. Let's not blame bad choices or being a bad person on "mental problems". This was all preplanned and deliberate. She had accomplices to help. It's a cop out to say mental breakdown or whatever other excuse about mental problems.

As he was tearing down her story brick by brick, he kept saying, “out of respect for Carlee” or something similar. I believe they know even more that what they put out there yesterday. They are waiting for Carlee to either spill the truth, or come in and lie under oath.
Lies like this could have been much worse, had there been a regular old thin haired Baw out there with his kid driving around that area, they would have hemmed him up for hours.

I agree and they are still waiting on some testing results that he mentioned. I'm also wondering if someone involved has come forward, particularly after the presser.
I'm still unclear on whether the brother's gf/wife's phone pinged in that area. Maybe I missed confirmation on that. I don't think it was mentioned in the presser. Since the brother was convinced she was kidnapped, if the gf/wife was involved, he apparently didn't know that.
