Maybe, maybe not. What happened to her?

This one is strange. I'm going out on a limb here but I don't think this is what we thought at first glance. Just my 2 cents. Prayers for family

No, why would I? It’s clearly visible on the side of the road and every cruiser in the Hoover PD has to drive past it to get to the scene.

Haven't completely followed but if it was all a set up, wouldn't the sister in law or whoever she called have to be involved since they said that they heard a toddler crying and then her scream?

I'm sure the cops are drilling the family witness about that story

Kid was used as bait

Most people would also get out with them instead of putting the kid in their car. No one wants to accidentally catch a kidnapping charge.

Sorta urban legend-is.

I gotta assume that police have compared her 911 call to true video. Because here’s the thing, if she called 911 minutes earlier she would have no idea where the police are, unless maybe they told her on the 911 call it would be a certain amount of time? I mean she calls to report it and an officer could have been on the interstate just by luck?

Idk. Seems like an odd place for an abduction also. Ingress/ egress is pretty terrible. It sure doesn’t seem like there’s an another vehicle on the interstate.

People drive in those medians all the time. Tire tracks in the area really wouldn’t be any sure evidence of anything imo.

Not if you scoped it out and assuming everything that went into getting a car to stop during a time of day where there may not be much traffic.

And an interstate can be a place to disappear on.

If you've seen multiple pictures of the victim she looks strong. She would not be easy to put in a gray sedan.

I could be wrong but I thought the SIL said she didn’t hear anything other than cars driving by

The simplest explanation is always the best one. She simply wanted to get away for whatever reason. She parked her car, walked into the woods and into a neighborhood and probably had someone pick her up

So she left her car running on the side of the interstate? And left her purse, phone and wig (that she had earlier been wearing) laying over in the grass? And with nothing but what was in her pockets she just walked off into the woods in the dark? So she could disappear and start a new, secret life? I just don’t think that sounds like the simplest explanation. How many cases are there of 20 something year old women doing this? I can’t recall one. I can however recall cases, many cases, of lone 20 something year old females being abducted, raped, and killed.

Not saying either happened. But historical odds definitely favor one over the other.

That is what i have read in few places and here.

quote:

“My son’s girlfriend heard her asking the child, ‘Are you Ok? She never heard the child say anything but then she heard our daughter scream,’’ Talitha Russell said. “From there all you hear on her phone is background noise from the interstate.”

She said she heard the missing women ask the kid/baby/toddler if they were ok; then she heard the missing woman scream; then just heard the background noise from the interstate.

And then she heard our daughter Carlee scream, and from there on all we could hear was noise … background noise in her phone, which we later found out was noise from the interstate.' .'

All the SIL reported was hearing Carlee ask “are you ok?” then a scream (from Carlee) then only background sounds coming through the phone.

She’d be a hard one to drag into the woods, especially if she was fighting.

Hopefully it was a mental thing and not a sex trafficking kidnapping and she’s still alive and well.

A long shot but maybe ran off with a bf or having an affair with a married man so doesn't want to be found?

Stranger things have happened.

not saying this didn't happen, but it doesn't line up with the video. She parks, gets out of the car, walks around the front to the passenger door, opens it, leans in for 10 to 15 seconds before she re emerges and then stands beside the car for a length of time before disappearing from view. Where was the child she could be heard talking to? Was it in the back seat because that's immediately where her attention is focused (I'm being a bit sarcastic) despite her stopping to help a child... This is why I'm so skeptical of the story we've gotten. If I'm concerned enough to stop on the side of the interstate because I fear for a child's safety, my focus is going to be on the child not something insignificant in the backseat. Furthermore, if I actually do encounter this child, I'm. going to get down on their level to communicate with them, either on a knee or squatted down. I see zero indication of this despite her SIL saying she heard her asking presumably a child if they were ok.
