I just caught up. The current debate is if a car was waiting for her and if that was even possible given the narrow area of grass between the shoulder and tree line.

I don’t know what else to say. It’s not even a debate. There’s simply no car or any place to hide a car.

I am just going by the news reports.

quote:

”He saw her red car with the door open and he saw a grey car with a tall brown skinned man with khaki shorts on leaning over in the car,’’ Talitha Russell said. “The police did find some tire tracks in the grass,’’ she said. “They said because it was not a muddy area, they were not able to determine what type of vehicle it could have been.”

I am not saying there is a vehicle there. I am not saying there is not a vehicle there.

But you have to agree there needs to be one in order for this entire abduction scenario to take place right? Without one, the abductor has 3 options. He can drag her into incredibly dense woods, he can drag her up the shoulder to the exit or he can drag her over the hill into someone’s back yard… point being a vehicle is needed but none exists in the video. Why is that?

Eyewitness testimony is shite in broad daylight at 0mph. I can only imagine how shitty and unreliable it would be at night going 50+mph

Saw this on Reddit (so wtf knows if legit) but haven't seen it itt yet:

quote:

My mother lives in the house directly behind where it happened. Maybe 200ft away from interstate. The cops are already way ahead of things. They've asked all the neighbors.

Under the interstate there is a drainage tunnel right at that point, it goes from one side to the other. (Probably 8 feet diameter) As kids we used to play in it. Thought it was the coolest thing.

Someone could have kidnapped her and snuck out of the other side of that tunnel

No doubt. But, I would say it is at least as accurate as the testimony of messageboarders who weren’t there.

I have never said there was a car there. Or wasn’t. Just that we can’t see everything in that traffic cam video. But at least based on the news reports, there may have been one. And law enforcement seems interested in that area past the exit sign along the tree line. That’s it. Oh, and spatial relations is not some of y’alls strong suit.

From the cam you can see past the next exit so where did this invisible car go?

Even if this is all 100 percent legit, the odds of being in this exact place at this exact time with a lone female driver stopping here and exiting her vehicle in order for an abduction to take place seems astronomical. I think you’d have a greater chance or winning the lottery than all of those things lining up for you to snag someone.

Looks like a wooded embankment at the spot where her car was found. I don't think this tunnel would be close enough to drag someone to in 3 minutes.

Tried telling you earlier that as of last night around mile marker 12 there is a tan/grey Toyota Tacoma parked/abandoned in the grass maybe a half mile from there. I know it’s there because I drive past it on my way home last night. In all likelihood this is the vehicle witnesses are referencing because of their close proximity to each other.

I don't know about other states but I know Alabama would NOT HAVE TREES around a drainage pipe that goes under an interstate.

The simplest explanation is always the best one. She simply wanted to get away for whatever reason. She parked her car, walked into the woods and into a neighborhood and probably had someone pick her up… it’s way more plausible than seeing a child on the side of the road, driving back around for 10 minutes, parking and getting out of your car only to have some pervert nab you in a scenario that defies logic and incredibly ridiculous odds. Oh it’s also caught on a traffic cam but the details that are supposed to be there are strangely enough missing.
