Are people wrong who’ve said players “turned their back” on the guy? Yes.
However, the ones facing forward (away from the flag) did do it intentionally and in protest, as is their right. That’s what happened. Nothing more, nothing less. We’re all free to have our opinion on it.
Those acting like there was no protest and it’s all made up are misrepresenting the situation, which is ironically what they’re accusing everyone else of.

However, the ones facing forward (away from the flag) did do it intentionally and in protest, as is their right. That’s what happened. Nothing more, nothing less. We’re all free to have our opinion on it.

Typically players face forward during anthems when they line up. No one protested anything in this game. The ones that turned, faced the flag and put their hands over their hearts did something out of the ordinary. There was nothing wrong or in protest during this particular game.

Seriously, think about it this way.
How many triathletes, long distance/middle distance runners have you ever seen with a big rack?
World class soccer players are essentially long distance runners chasing a ball around for about 3/4 of the time it takes to run a 26.2 mile marathon.
That said...they are impressive athletes with mostly small tits. However, any one of them who turned their back on or disrespected the National Anthem can go frick themselves with a razor dildo. I too hope they get their asses handed to them if most of them act this way.
