ASU actually cancelled the Undie Run in 2015. Quick google shows the last year they did this is in 2017. Looks like it's no longer a tradition.

I don't think it's that. Phoenix still does the Cupid Undie Run every year with no protests(which is actually a nationwide event with many cities participating).

It was cancelled due to funding. The student government declined to fund.
It’s posters like the OP that caused it. The president felt that the pics cheapened the image of the school.

It is not unsubstantiated. I went to the Arizona-LSU game in 03 and the talent walking around campus and in the bars was incredible. ASU is almost certainly the same. There are a lot of not so smart Cali girls that can't get into the big schools over there. They flock to places like Arizona and ASU.
