You can't stop shooting, and start shooting again seconds later while stepping towards the "threat" while they are lying face first on the pavement after catching a few rounds. Thats going to be really hard to get out of.

If someone is road raging, the best thing you can do is just get away from them and let them go on. You never know what someone is going to do if you confront them or what position they might put you in.

I’m sure the defense attorneys will argue that the first rounds were justified and everything else came after his frame of mind was rocked.

Im sure thats absolutely the case. Shooter was seeing red. Maybe he had a child in his car or something? Whats that do for him? Turn it from murder to manslaughter?
Genuinely curious. I try to use all these types of things as case studies.

For me, its the fact that he did stop shooting, advanced towards the threat, and started shooting again. If he had never stopped shooting, he could have made a case that the threat wasn't completely neutralized.

This guy ran him down, blocked his vehicle and then came at him with a bat....It would be hard to dial me back after something like that. But if I am armed, I'm not getting out of my vehicle. No room for error on that.

Totally agree. Will be interesting to see if charges are filed. Guessing here, but I'm assuming you let bat man hit your car or windows before you start blasting.
