When I was just out of high school I was on an offshore rig with half black and half white crews. I usually hung out with the black guys from Mississippi. We were having a heated argument one day on who was finer, Paula Abdul or Janet Jackson. I was all in the Paula Abdul camp. It finally came down to one of the black guys from Mississippi claiming that if Paula Abdul was sitting high and dry on the catwalk of the rig and Janet Jackson was on the bank however many miles away he would jump his non swimming black arse overboard for Janet. To this day I laugh at that conversation.
