Correct. It’s not a big deal. $800 bucks for wife to be happy and two children to go to Disney for first time. No sweat.

My side of the family has been splintered for several years because my dad is a grudge holding SOB. I have to be the go between for my sister and aunt and my dad who takes care of my mom who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. It’s our turn to spend Thanksgiving with my wife’s side of the family so we are out of town. My aunt and sister both texted me individually if we were going be in town. Neither contacted the other. I go see my parents on Monday and my dad had no plans because he is also trying to help take care of my other aunt who is mentally handicapped. I text my sister and my aunt to see what their plans are, get everything set up so that my mom is not alone half the day. Now my mom says she doesn’t want to go to my sisters and she’s saying she’ll just take her to lunch Saturday meaning my mom with dementia stuck in a wheelchair will spend half a day by herself. My family sucks sometimes.

Nothing too over the top yet, dad woke up grumpy as hell and is starting the fireworks by complaining about everything on tv. I'm sure the transition will be to politics soon because he's ex-LANG and is mighty pissed about the dc shootings yesterday. I'm in the kitchen assisting mother while dad barks at brother in law about it all.

Pretty chill around here per normal
One of the kids has some sort of virus and is being a grumpy teenager (all the drama we have)

My cousin and his family left late. Got here at 3am. Only unoccupied room was the living room. 2 full size couches and 2 giant camping cots. They opted to sleep outside in their car. No drama yet. Im thinking of asking how people feel about the jews as an ice breaker.
