The General in charge and the Architect are not happy with each other... The General has told the Architect to shut his mouth.

Macron would like the central spire to add more modern elements. The General disagrees. Will the job be done in five years? Will the promised billion or so francs/euros be collected.

Or will the gales of winter collapse the still standing walls?

Thank you for posting.

Does anyone have a better understanding of how the fire started?

It is essential this gets rebuilt.

How is an Army general associated with any of this?

Nope. They still haven't recovered from the beating Bama put on them.

Why rebuild?

Once France goes majority Muslim, last projection I heard was around 2050, it will be torn down anyway.

There are several related articles on that website, one said the fire was started by a cigarette or a welder's torch.

You'd think the two would leave a different pattern of burn.

A General was put in charge because Macron decided to do it that way. (Watch the pile of Francs be passed around.) They still don't have the scaffolding down that was in the middle of the fire.

because for some reason people still practice Catholicism. So that building means something to them 1 or 2 times a year.
