There’s a good chance workers know what happened and told the authorities. Pretty straight forward.

When you're someone who actively roots for the Muslims or leftist groups to be responsible, hopefully leading to war so they can use their big guns, common sense goes out the window.

Given the scaffolding and where the fire started, it was obvious to anyone with a half-functioning brain that this was an accidental blaze caused by the renovation crews. Unfortunately, the PoliBoard attitude is like a fricking virus and uses every opportunity to push forward their agenda and narrative.

From all of the articles recently posted about it almost all of the vandalism seems to be thefts and stuff that’s kids would do.

This is how great conspiracies are born. Ignore all logic and push forward with the best story.

I don’t subscribe to this strawman. I simply think people want to blame something other than the least interesting cause. It’s the same “want” that drives people to clickbait headlines.

The scaffolding covered a third of the roof. I don’t think it was so obvious in the moments, even hours, after it was initially reported. Speculation early is fine. My post was only in regard to authorities coming out and saying foul play isn’t involved. It’s that statement that should lead people to the conclusion that workers were interviewed and explained the accident.

Like I said, you are like a typical conspiracy theorists - the only facts that you'll accept are the ones you like.
I'm keeping an open mind, which INCLUDES terrorism during Holy Week, in a country where many churches have been damaged in the past months.

And, I guess, if the DOJ wouldn't prosecute Clinton, the it is no surprise that a French prosecutor opts out of investigating terrorism before the building has been cooled down enough to search.

So Slackster's a prog? Wouldn't surprise me.

frick that. Who cares?

You still investigate and make a determination as to the authenticity or validity of their statement. You don’t declare it to be fact while the fricker is still on fire.

lmao, idiots/assholes

I don’t see how they can reach such a definitive conclusion so quickly with the surge of recent church vandalism/arsons in the area in recent weeks

I think this is why there is a complete mistrust of information being put out by government/press outlets

If it would have had signatures of a terrorist attack you would be saying case closed it’s terrorist and complaining that it has been officially announced as terrorism.

I'd imagine they've got some information we don't?

Mass was being celebrated when the alarms started. People were everywhere. Surely witnesses exist, perhaps workers themselves.

Then why wouldn't they include that info during the original statement?

Some idiots on page one of this thread think that the church fire is in Indiana. One even asks if touchdown Jesus went up in smoke.

Why not? If multiple witnesses claim the same thing (accident) from multiple areas (which is the assumption), what’s wrong with saying the investigation, right now, will focus on that evidence? On top of that, no groups are claiming this, no suicides involved, and multiple reports confirming it started as a result of the renovation work.

I'm not sure. I've read it paraphrased on multiple sites. Some say the preliminary indications were it was an accident. Some specifically say they ruled out arson and terrorism.

Hell, Fox says they ruled it out "for now", whatever that means.

To be fair, no one has claimed responsibility for the other church burnings/vandalizing in France either

Hell no, but before I found Tigerdroppings, I didn't even know embarrassing conservatives existed.

That's exactly why people don't put a whole lot of faith into what they're being told. If it's not a criminal investigation, then you generally tell people details about why you ruled certain things out.

Not all of them. Some supposedly are implied by their graffitti messages.

Gotta love that lefty false intellectual assuredness.

Is it "obvious?" Were you there? If it's so obvious, why haven't they said that this is definitely what it was?

Maybe because it's not obvious.
