Not moving, not breathing, but a heartbeat. What to do?

You see a person in their office or a locker room on the ground, no moving, no talking, but you hear a strong heartbeat.

What to do now?

In the CPR technique, do you do chest compressions, or rescue breaths?

Wait about 10 minutes and the heartbeat isn't a problem anymore.

Survey scene.

Call 911.

Ask permission to help.

Clear airway. Head tilt, chin up. Start compressions and rescues breaths 30:2

Start AED if available.

Continue compressions and rescue breaths until first responders arrive.

I’m not a first responder but I did rescue my mother twice from unresponsive partial death. Blue lips, eyes rolled back in head.

She died in her sleep anyway about two years ago most likely due to lack of oxygen and chronic oxygen deficiency problems.

I did my best.

Rescues breaths. Why the hell would you do chest compressions if their heat is beating. The point of chest compressions is to mimic the heart beating.

Dial 911, and listen to whatever the operator tells you to do.
