If Endymion rolls behind Bacchus will there still be bands and dance groups in between the floats?

It is really too early to say for anything.
I remember back in 2014. Some genius predicted cold and wet weather for Mardi Gras that year on Monday and Tuesday. So Houma rescheduled the Monday and Tuesday parades to ride on Sunday before Mardi Gras. Weather turned out fine for Mardi Gras day. No rain and plenty of sun, so much for that forecast.

Agreed, and I hope you are right, worst part is, the forecast for Sunday right now is 50% chance for Sunday at 4. So imagine moving to Sunday then still getting pushed back. Parade wouldn't end until like 3-4 in the morning.

I remember the last time they did this...from what I recall....wasnt there some issues with some of the Endy floats getting stuck under the trees on St Charles and the large floats having trouble turning?

Dude. These are like half the fun. It give a nice break in between floats, especially in parades like Bacchus and Endymion when you're being absolutely showered with beads.

I'm all for people getting together and having a good time.
But the idea of these adult dance groups has jumped the shark. Some of them are good and fun to watch. A whole bunch are just disasters.

I really don't understand why they would not put Endymion BEFORE Bacchus.
Just reschedule the day accordingly:
Okeanos at 9
Mid City at 945
Thoth at 10
Endymion at 2
Bacchus at 530 (15 min later)
If Sat morning was a washout too, you could fit in Iris at 8 and Tucks at 1
Thoth would be pissed, but you could cut out their Henry Clay loop and Start them on magazine, especially if you had to run Tucks at 1.
