She actually shot him twice. Once in the stomach when he had no weapon and posed no threat and once in the back when he went up the stairs. She was acquitted. From what I read in a report, she was never charged for the 2nd shot to his back and it was not brought up in the trial. WTF…… The video is pretty good quality and it`s plain as day.

You want me to go into further reason why Latoya and Broome can be as bad as they are and not get removed?

Do i really need to explain why there is the elephant in the room?

wow, she shot him in the back.....

Well, good thing she's black and he's white. Otherwise she might go to jail.

Leaving gender out of it, imagine if the races were reversed.

Rather than riot and destroy, I played golf this morning. Weird.

If only he would have listened to one of the 50 times they told him to stop resisting.

Yeah you can’t just choose to not be arrested. That’s not how it works.

I would say that shooting him wasn’t necessary or a good shot, but they tried to subdue him and tried less lethal means (tasers). As much as it seems unnecessary, especially the second shot, he has umpteen chances to comply and kept fighting. So anything that happens to him once he starts fighting is on him.

That’s exactly what a GED, badge, and gun will get you.

well he wasn't going to get far having been shot once already. He was probably at least 20ft away from them when he was shot the second time. Plus it really doesn't matter what the tried or what had happened to that point. They are not supposed to shoot someone unless their life was in danger.

The Cook County Prosecutor did not charge her with the 2nd shot to the back or even bring it up during the trial. How can they possibly get away with that?
She was wrong with the first shot but that second shot to the back was even worse.

Dont resist and live. Its pretty simple. Im not taking up for either party. But if he is willing to fight that hard to get away, who knows what he would do if he escaped.

Just dont fight the police

Good.

That's what happens when you fight cops.

First shot looks good, except for her partner being directly behind the target. Second not great. But screw that guy, don’t fight two cops.

PS maybe someone could have helped them instead of standing there filming.

I was on the red line that day and my girlfriend and I were so pissed there was a delay. Found out later its because this happened like one stop over.
