Both of those women are hot as hell with or without the nose piercing.

I've never seen a nose piercing of any type I thought was attractive.
I can't comment on whether they're a red flag. They seem to be near ubiquitous in Gen Z.

my wife is a dr. (medical). has a nose ring, not septum, and lots of tattoos. there are more than several female physicians in her practice that have nose rings and tattoos. i have a ton of tattoos (no earings) and no one looks at us differently when we go anywhere. we do get some occational second takes if we go eat at the country club. but thats a bunch of old rich fricks mostly

Wife has one, not septum. She either wears a stud or a small hoop.
I was firmly against it when she got it, but I honestly don't even notice it anymore. It's actually pretty common, a lot of seemingly normal suburban moms have them.

Nose piercings have reached the point of being a harmless fad now; high school girls get them because women they admire as edgy have them. The edgy women are going to stop wearing them since it’s mainstream and the fad will be over. Remember tongue piercing?
Tattoos are different because they are more or less permanent. They show a real lapse of judgment for the goofy one-offs or a serious case of low self-esteem/self-hatred for the folks with several.
It’s like when someone wants to take up an athletic hobby so they buy a road bike. Everyone knows people riding bikes on the street are universally unpopular so why would you choose to become part of a group like that? Daddy issues? Acting out against society?
Not being judgmental.
