For some reason it’s considered Northshore.

Bogalusa, Isabel, Enon, or Franklinton
You’ll thank me later.
Hopefully public education is important to you.

Agreed on 1088. You’ll never see so many golf carts in a place where the nearest golf course is 5 miles away.

Meh I lived off 1088, moved to west approach last year, much better. Grew up in river oaks, riverwood, ccc, cant go wrong there either. Obviously beau chene is great also.

Thought I’ve heard Riverwood had flooding issues in the past?

Everything in Mandeville is close enough anyway it doesn’t make too much of difference in terms of amenities which side of town you are on.
1088 is a bit closer to the Lakefront and you can avoid most of the traffic bottlenecks other than Soult Street and 1088 during commute hours.
West side is closer to Covington/Madisonville and all of the HWY 190/21 businesses which is nice.
To me is just comes down to finding the right house since most neighborhoods are comparable in that $300-$350 range.

Everybody starts in Beau Chene. Then move in 3-7 years
