North Carolina Mayor’s Wife Yvonne Doughtie Goes Off on Black Residents( FB Rant)

In a lengthy Facebook rant that is now spreading on social media, the mayor’s wife unloaded on Black residents of Roanoke Rapids, claiming they are a major reason the city and its high school have gone downhill. She didn’t whisper it but she reportedly typed it out for the whole town to see.

“Another problem I have observed is the Black Citizens have moved into the City of Roanoke Rapids and RRHS and there has been a lot of problems with their housing area and in the schools. I am not saying all Black Citizens but a lot of them just don’t take care of their houses especially if they are renting. We have what I call a lot of Slum Lord Rental People that do not keep their properties fixed!”

According to the mayor’s wife, a whole lot of Black people simply refuse to maintain their homes and are dragging the schools down with them.
