I don’t mind calling out LE when they overstep their bounds, but I thought the officer actually showed great restraint in this case. He removed the dumbass from a fight, and she responded by coming up swinging at him. She’s lucky she doesn’t have a broken jaw, or worse.

That cop did absolutely nothing wrong. To say that is a "body slam" is a horrible over exaggeration of the incident. Pulling her out of the fight and onto the ground is not a body slam. If she didn't want to find herself eating concrete she shouldn't have been fighting. If NOPD fricks this cop over, I'm sure JPSO would love to have him on the force.

No. It's the worlds largest free festival and it's four days long and spans the French Quarter. When you have hundreds of thousands of people all over the place, you're always going to have a few incidents. Although to be honest, I've actually never seen an incident at the French Quarter Fest. It's a laid back crowd.
When an incident in New Orleans doesn't end in a rat-a-tat-tat, it's a success.
