NO
The new 25 person rule only pertains to what is considered INDOOR GATHERINGS: Things such as weddings, funerals, and the like
It does not pertain to restauruants, church services and the rest of this list
Allowed to Open at 50% Capacity
Shopping malls and retail stores
Restaurants
Bars and breweries with an LDH food permit
Beauty salons, barber shops, and nail salons
Tattoo, massage, and esthetician services
Childcare, early learning centers, and extra curricular programs
Gyms and fitness centers
Office buildings and businesses
Conference venues and meeting rooms
Libraries
Community centers
Museums, zoos, aquariums
Outdoor recreation spaces, sports complexes, parks and playgrounds
Outdoor live entertainment

The post you quoted was responding to a poster saying that Dr. Jen confirmed that the new rule would be 50% or 25, whichever is less. Did she not say that, or is the information not true?
All of that being said, the 50% or 25 people rule makes a little more sense than pretending that "indoor gatherings" and indoor dining should be treated differently.

You are correct. I am just following the thread. I do not live in New Orleans and do not care enough to read the full guidelines.
That doesn't change the fact that treating people dining inside a restaurant differently than an "indoor gathering" held in the same building is rather stupid.
