If I pay the additional cost, can I stand up and proclaim how black people are full of shite without getting shot?

It was a social experiment by Loyola and Tulane students. Man, some people on here get triggered over anything.

This guy nails it.

quote:

Jason Fallon Tempo Toby Why does it matter that the article gave one stat about Asian families? Yeah okay, they mentioned them and...? It still doesn't explain why only the whites were asked to pay additional for the meal and why Asians, who on average make more, were not. If the experiment wasn't structurally biased against whites, Asians would also be asked to pay more. The experiment is, at its core, discriminatory and/or racist because it assumes all whites are wealthy and all minorities are not. Aren't liberals trying to get away from this "racist" behavior of lumping people together based on race?

I guess it's cool if the court system asked blacks to pay more toward their fines because they are disproportionally responsible for more crime than whites...as an experiment of course.

While I don't agree with it this is technically illegal since it discriminates based on one of the major categories. Namely, race.

The thing that makes me mad and that all of these SJWs tend to overlook,or just be completely ignorant of, is the fact that simply being white does not mean you grew up wealthy or even better off than anyone else. So many factors come into play when it comes to economics and personal finance but these people just assume all white people are just swimming in our pools of money like Scrooge McDuck. It's absurd.

Real problem is some tenured professor at Tulane approved this kind of stupid shite. And some kid’s parents are paying for this nonsense

Any diner can elect to pay $12 and be served. The point is not to charge people more for lunch based on their race, Wey said. The point, he said, is to make people experience, in a concrete situation, how income disparities -- which, in New Orleans, starkly run along racial lines -- affect daily decisions like what to pay for lunch, as well as life-altering opportunities and even personal health.

So basically, you can still pay the $12, but you are going to essentially be lectured and guilted while doing it.

This actually sounds like my worst nightmare for a business lunch.

Would rather eat at Applebees.

Will we have a dialogue about education level disparity?

I’m surprised that someone in an advanced civilized society still feels this way.

Were you serious or joking?

I agree wholeheartedly with you. There are more white people on welfare than there are any other race. Of course there are more white people than any other race in the US.

Nah, no racism here. They just want to have a discussion. That’s all. What a fricking joke these people are. Good thing there’s lots better food options in New Orleans of all places to pull this shite. Oh No... Where WILL we eat? What is to become of us?
