My dad grew up in a 2 room house with his 5 siblings and his parents. Not 2 bedrooms. 2 rooms. The kitchen/living/dining room and the sleeping room. There was no bathroom. Just an outhouse. Very stereotypical Appalachia life a la Coal Miner's Daughter. I'd really like someone to ask him to pay more to make up for his privilege. GTFO.

Why has this country gotten to where it's forgot that anyone can be born into or come to this country and realize the "American Dream" by working to achieve it?

I live in one of the most racially diverse states and see people from all walks of life succeeding.

I work 2 jobs to support my family on way less than the average OT baller salary but I make it okay.

I don't have to complain about inequality all the time.

And I sure as he'll don't have to pay $30 for lunch.

The descendants of the slaves live better than the descendants of the tribes that captured the slaves or never were slaves.

The poorest here live in what would be luxury in Africa.

How many of you, when going to lunch today. Will be wanting to have a discussion with the owner about race?

Personally, I go out to eat at lunch to fill by belly so that I can go back to work and make money to pay my bills, but maybe I’m missing out on some great thing here.

Easy fix. Tell them you are black and start screaming racial prejudice if they don't agree.
