NOLA Monument removal to be voted on next Thursday

I wonder what those two gentlemen had to say about the shooting at the park full of kids.

I hope the statues come to life and kill the protestors.

I think it's 7-0. At NOLA's heart it is a liberal and black city, and you can't win an election there any other way. St. Tammany, Jefferson, etc. don't get a say. Just the price of removing yourself from the city proper

unfortunately I think the same. It's political suicide if any of them vote against taking down the monuments.

Is there still any doubt as to whether the Feds wil block the removal of a federal historic landmark?

I seem to remember questions about whether they could touch a federal listed place.
